"What do you mean, this is disgraceful," the villain demanded.
His captive looked around at their surroundings, shaking her head. "You simply have to be kidding me. You call this an evil lair? The colors alone are ridiculous. Hot pink and powder blue everywhere, instead of blood-red and black and gunmetal ray? You couldn't at least get a good decorator in to set the proper mood?"
"I've abducted several victims over the years, and I've never had any complaints yet about ambiance."
"Did they laugh in your face before you tortured them to death," the current victim asked mockingly.
