Title: 'The Last Thief'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Rating: G
Terzen grinned to himself as the lock snicked open. The treasure room was his to ransack! He slid the door open just enough to slip past.
Strange, he thought, looking around, that there should be no guards to protect all the gold and silver. The monarch must be a trusting, naïve soul, to only have the wealth of the land behind one locked door.
But a hand clutched at Terzen, sending his heart into his throat. He turned, and spied a wispy form bearing a sword.
"Who are you," Terzen gasped.
"The ghost of the last thief," the apparition whispered.
