Title: 'Wednesday'
Fandom: Original Fiction
Rating: G
I thought there'd be a panic when the portal opened up. It was like the sky had turned into one massive funnel. And flying saucers were pouring out of it, filling the sky all around.
But nobody gave the phenomenon more than a cursory glance, before going about their daily business.
Snatching a passerby by the arm, I pointed up. "Why isn't anyone scared of this weirdness," I demanded to know.
He looked me up and down. "Heh. You must be new here. Or you'd understand. We're used to this sorta thing. What you call weirdness, we just call Wednesday."
