The WitchQueen watches, unimpressed, as another would-be power-monger enters her lair.
They all come to her to seek her aid. Men who would usurp thrones and wear beautiful crowns, women who would steal away a fair rival's lover. They all know her power, and would taste a bit of it, for themselves.
That there are risks and prices, high prices, to be paid never occurs to any them until it is far too late. The WitchQueen does not offer her skills for nothing, nor for a pittance.
How bitterly her clients will grieve, if they cannot pay her fees.
