Casey was lying on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Sometimes he felt like living in medial times. Back then, people called everything heretic they couldn't understand. But one should think it was different today.
He had done nothing wrong, just a movie date with a nice guy from chess club. Unfortunately, they did run into his neighbor, Mrs. oh-so-perfect Fisher. Just when Tim had kissed him. Only an innocent kiss, but of course, she had nothing better to do than call his mom right away.
Now he was grounded indefinitely, and the chess club was history. Life just sucked.
