Nyx had followed quite the trail this time, from sage to heretic to quiet bookseller and then further, further...
And now she stood, waiting and hoping she would be remembered and acknowledged and that perhaps some archive remained...
"You made it." Orochi's smile was one that Nyx did not trust.
"Of course I did," Nyx replied swiftly. "Now..."
Orochi laughed and gestured for Nyx to follow her deeper into Hoshido's grand castle.
"Yes, yes, come see what Orochi has found for you. My queen left quite a bit behind, though I cannot promise-"
Nyx knew. She knew...
But she'd try.
