Title: Not A Piece of Cake
Original (or) Fandom: Labyrinth
Rating: G/K
Notes: Sarah's trying to move ahead.
Sarah stared as her stepmother set a slice of cake before her. She poked at it with her fork.
"Oh, eat. It's not like you weigh that much. I know you think I'm evil, but I think any guy would be lucky to have you."
Sarah eyed her stepmother, then the cake, her stepmother, and the cake again. "I wish that was so," she whispered, cutting into the colorful sweet. Slowly raising it to her mouth, she recalled the strongest, sexiest man. He had to stay in the past; she had to forge ahead. Life wasn't a piece of cake.
The End
