“Here,” I said, thrusting a sheet of writing paper into Holmes’ outstretched hand.  “And much good may it do you.  I feel like I’ve been on a wild good chase around half the printers in London.  I thought it would be easy to find the type of paper you wanted, but it seems far less common than I’d expected.  You were lucky I found this before they closed for the day.”

Holmes examined the sheet and smiled.  “You are mistaken, Watson, for you have found the goose which laid the golden egg; this is the missing part of my puzzle.”
