Zero isn't certain of just what the diabolical equivalent of Cloud Nine might be. But, either way, he's sitting pretty.
What if young Tork's friends do want to call the legality of his contract into question? In their shoes, he might perhaps feel inclined to do the same. The battle ought be short enough, at any rate, and quite sweet. As victory tends to be.
Who knows? If all goes better than he'd initially planned, Zero might well have four souls ripe for the taking. Anyone who's so willing to fight for a friend might be well worth the keeping.
