Notes: implied minor character death, implied desire to die
all he can do is watch as every person he dares to love dies. it breaks his heart again and again.
and he was told that being semi-immortal was a gift of his kind.
he can't see how this is a gift. he wonders if he was told that because there has been so few "blessed" that they don't tell the truth.
so they told him, millenia ago, that he's blessed.
but as he witnesses one more friend dieing of old age, all he can do is wish for the next 'blessed' to come and free him from this burden.
