Zeke's eyes fall onto the bruise on Casey's arm. „Wouldn't it be easier to play along instead of letting everyone know that you are the biggest geek ever all the time?“
„I can't live a lie forever.“
Zeke smirked. „Because it is so much better to get bullied every day?“
Casey shrugged. „Well, at least I don't need to be ashamed of myself,“ he said, grabbing for his backpack and leaving the bleachers.
Zeke stared after him with narrowed eyes. No, impossible that he knew the truth. The truth about all the lies he had built his life on.
