"With all due respect, Your Majesty," Mae stressed the words in a tone that none would dare take with the Queen except her closest comrade in arms, "Manarina has many magical researchers and Guardiana needs its Queen more now than ever, with all the rebuilding."
"Only Tao and I were there when it happened," countered Anri, "Only we understand the severity of an event that could threaten more than just Guardiana. What happened to our leader back there... I felt it hit me like a wave. The Egress spell failed. Until people understand the implications, I will not leave Manarina."
