It was his good fortune that his day off should coincide with a sunny day, Lucas thought as he stretched out on the garden seat and opened his book.  A while later he woke up and glanced at the sky, which was now an ominous shade of grey.  He picked up his book and returned inside, shutting the door as the first heavy drops of a downpour began.  On a whim, he checked the library app on his phone, and spotted a book he’d been thinking of reading was available at the local branch.  The day couldn’t get any better.
