When Zeke had invited him over this afternoon, Casey had expected a movie, a new videogame and maybe a frozen pizza. Flabbergasted he stared at the table in the livingroom; two mugs with coffee, an applepie and a plate with chocolate muffins. It smelled delicious and made his mouth water.

Zeke grinned wide.
„Thought it might be a nice idea to spend this birthday with someone I care for.“

„It's your birthday? Why didn't you tell me?“

„Because I didn't want you to spend your small pocket money for me. You, being here, that's enough for me.“
