Her first night of sharing an apartment with Phoebe, and Rachel was already confused.
Dragged out of bed by the sound of her friend's guitar, Rachel found her in the living room.
"Pheebs, why are you singing to a houseplant at two in the morning," she sleepily wondered.
"Oh! Hi, Rach," Phoebe grinned. "Did I wake you? I'm sorry about that."
"That's fine. But why are you doing that?"
"My houseplant couldn't sleep," came the unsurprisingly odd explanation. "So I was singing it a lullaby. Even plants need a good sleep, to stay healthy."
"If you say so," Rachel murmured.
