“Why is that werewolf limping?” Harry demanded.

“Perhaps he’s hurt a paw,” Jo said.  She went over.  “Let me see.”

The werewolf pathetically raised a front leg.  Jo gently felt around the leg and watched as the werewolf winced.  She rubbed the sore part and said, “It’s much better than yesterday.”

“He wasn’t in wolf form yesterday,” Harry objected.

“No, but Lucas had a massive bruise on his arm.  He said he wasn’t in any pain, but I doubt he was telling the truth.”

“Do we need to do anything?”

“Just give him some roast chicken, that’ll distract him sufficiently.”
