"Quick question," Rachel nervously spoke up. "Why does the kitchen look like one of those word problems from high school math class?"
Indeed, every available space in Monica's kitchen was occupied by various dried fruits.
"I got a great bargain at the grocery store today," Monica explained, stirring a bowl of batter. "So I decided to make fruitcake for everyone."
"Oh." Rachel did her best not to cringe. "That's nice, Mon. Note to self," she added under her breath as she headed for her bedroom. "Pay Joey to take my fruitcake off my hands."
"I heard that," Monica resentfully called.
