The old crone leaned over her paltry stall, her eyes gleaming at fresh, young girl. She could easily turn a pretty penny off of someone so sweet and naïve. "Take this bargain," she said, offering up an apple pie. "Give it to the man of your dreams. He'll fall in love and want to wed you right away to make sure no one else ever partakes of your sweet samplings."

"How much?"

The crone gulped and paled suddenly for she'd seen the shrouded man watching over the girl. "For you, dearie? Free!"

Belle smiled. "Thanks, but I'm already happily taken."
