But now he was leading the dance as the bridegroom, with power and sensuality. He was free to express himself as he truly was, and, as he felt the energy flow through his limbs, he knew that he had finally arrived where he’d always wanted to be.

Delighted to see this turning into a new fandom for you! :) I always like the twists I've read so far for it in contrast to other Sleeping Beauty fandoms, like Maleficent being the whole reason why Aurora was able to be born in the first place...
