Notes: He knows he should be able to turn away. But he can't.
He was a lone wolf. He wasn't meant to operate this way. He should be able to turn his back on all of these people.
Logan growled, baring his fangs. He didn't need them, but they clearly needed him. They were good people, good kids all even though some appeared older than he. Still, he had the wisdom of decades to go on while they were alone, bound to get themselves killed. "Damn it." He wasn't cut out for the rescuing business, but he also wasn't cut out to turn a blind eye to an obviously impending massacre.
Xavier smiled.
