It's time, he thinks, his thick, purple tail swishing with agitation. He's been away from the kid for far too long now, and she needs someone. No, she doesn't just need someone. She needs him. They've always been a perfect team, ever since she rescued him the first time. He's rescued her many times since, not that she's known that often, including from that Wisdom chap.
He can feel her need screaming into his very being all the way across the cosmos. Lockheed lowers his horned head in resignation. He has to get back to Earth, for Kitty.
