People like Unryu gave fanatics a bad name, to the point that it wasn't popular to call yourself a fan any more, or even to admit an overly great enthusiasm for anything.
Akira didn't give a shit. He had given everything to protect what was important to him, he would die for it and he wasn't going to hide it any more.
For inspiration, he looked at his friends from other times and places, at Masaru's utter focus, at Oboromaru's oath to his clan, at Yun Jou's devotion to his Shifu.
He wasn't gonna let any of them outdo him.
