Leon grabbed his duffel from the baggage carousel and slung it over his shoulder. His last lead had been a dud and he was out of vacation days anyway. He didn't even want to think about the balance sitting on his credit cards.
And he wouldn't. He'd go punch the clock and do his job until he could try again. D had to be out there and someday, Leon knew he'd figure it all out. But until then he'd borrow travel guides and read the weird news tabloids and wonder.
Mostly he'd wonder.
He left the airport with a sigh.
