Theresa didn't really have memories of any of the Octopus's or Seahorse's children, having been born close to their disappearance and raised by the Temple. Bastian was the God Son, a legend, not near-kin at all.

Now at seventeen, a mature warrior of Oceanious, she would meet Bastian the next day, to become one of his lieutenants in the war of the gods.

That was why she asked Oceanious for one boon.

Bastian would not meet her as the daughter of the Seahorse, but just an anonymous Daughter of the Oceans.

That way, they would be on more even footing.
