as the night fell, their body felt heavier and almost unresponsive after hours of work. sometimes they regret working as a healer.

but helping people still make them feel way too proud for them truly regret it.

however, 12-hours long shifts in the ER takes a toll on anyone, perhaps even more on someone who casts spell after spell. in theory, they don't have to.

in practice, being a magician is why they're working here in the first place.

so they're exhausted, as always, after giving their life-force to help as many people as possible.

it makes them feel useful.
