"It's proprietary. We can't give you any details, I'm afraid," repeated the Agency stuffed shirt, making Garian want to stab him even more. The bounty hunter was in a foul mood already. The pain was crippling. He felt fundamentally wrong.
"Stuff proprietary. You did something to me," Garian snarled.
"We just upgraded your link to your snakebirds and their database."
"And what the hell does that mean?"
"You don't just save tactical information about your opponents. You store their DNA and mimic their abilities in battle."
"And how is that hurting my head?" he demanded.
The bureaucrat did not respond.
