Characters: Karen Sisco, Jack Foley
Karen doesn't mind being called a girl, or babe (tough babe, her dad reminds her), or even bitch. Bitch is harsh, but she'll take it. She relishes everything about being a woman with a Sig-Sauer and a badge.
Jack shows up from time to time, smoother than a swallow of bourbon. They make love (not fuck) in hotel beds and (one time) on a rooftop. They talk movies, and food, and jobs (that other people are pulling).
The thing is, Jack is not very good at not getting caught.
Fortunately for him, Karen is the one who keeps catching him.
