Notes: Zack does not care for the friction in his life.
Why did everyone have to cause him pain? He had told Ali he would pay the rent; he just needed a few days; days in which he could ignore being four months behind. They were friends; what need was there to pay? And why did Abby come home and disturb him? He’d brought her to Paris, couldn’t she just be satisfied with that? No, she complained about everything: her French teacher, her lack of yoga students, the problems with the visas. Now there was all the fuss about her sister having a baby. All he wanted was an untroubled life.
