Title: Get the Job Done
Author: Zdenka
Fandom: Rigoletto (Verdi opera)
Rating: T
Characters: Sparafucile, mentioned Rigoletto
Challenge: Amnesty Week XXXV / #029 - Quote V: "It was a dark and stormy night."
Notes/Warnings: Discussion of assassination & corpses
Summary: Sparafucile is just here to do his job. Murder the nobleman, or not.
Sparafucile glances out the window, where the rain is coming down in buckets. Thunder rumbles in the distance. He would hate to be out in this weather. Conveniently enough, his target is sleeping under the same roof, and the storm should cover any inconvenient noise.
His latest client is an odd one. First, he was cagey about whether the nobleman Sparafucile has been tracking for him should be murdered or not. Then it’s yes, kill him, but the client wants to throw the corpse into the river himself. Sparafucile doesn’t care either way, as long as he gets his money.
