"Just once, it'd be groovy to pull the wool over Babbitt's eyes," Micky grumbled, having faced yet another diatribe over late rent.
Mike grinned distractedly, his focus mostly on tuning his guitar. "Oh? How would you go about it?"
"I don't know." He mused for a bit, before snapping his fingers. "Maybe we could paint the Monkeemobile bright blue!"
At that, Mike's fingers slipped, the string he was tuning going wildly off. "Why in the world would you wanna do that?!"
"Maybe it'd con Babbitt into thinking we're not us."
"You sure are one audacious devil," a bemused Mike muttered.
