They had parted ways after breakfast, but Laslow had no trouble finding His Majesty Xander. It was instead the soldiers and guards who seemed troubled, as Xander kept beckoning them and their blunt practice swords closer.
His crown and jacket had been set aside, shirt unbuttoned, and hair pulled back. He hardly looked a king while still looking every bit one. Laslow smiled as he watched and listened, nodding along to each bit of advice given about form.
But Xander did need to get on with his day, so there was only one thing to do-
"My turn, Your Majesty!"
