"What's the matter with Micky," Davy wondered, watching his fellow Monkee toying with lots of cloth and a pair of scissors. "I think he's been at this ever since fall began."

Mike snickered. "Oh, c'mon. You know the drill, by now. Remember how he gets with his Halloween costumes. He said he wanted some help, though; he's stumped."

"He is, is he?" Davy rubbed his chin, giving the matter some thought. "I'd suggest a werewolf, but he seems to do that ridiculous impersonation of his every chance he gets."

"Maybe he could be a werewolf's ghost."

"Don't encourage that lunatic."
