"Get your nose out,” Jo muttered, pushing the werewolf away from her bag.

“You know he’ll investigate if he thinks there’s anything edible in there,” Aam replied.

“They’re my library books!”

“You’d better show him.”

Jo pulled a face, but nevertheless took each book out of her bag one at a time, holding them up for the werewolf to read the title.  He sniffed and then put a wet nose on one of them.

“Okay,” she said.  “I’ll tell Adam to get you the audiobook.”  She called over, “Adam, you need to download Cyril Hare’s ‘Short Stories’.

“Oh, very well!”
