Joey found Phoebe plopped on the floor of the hallway between his and Monica's apartments. A cluster of colored cards was spread out before her.
He carefully stepped around her. "Hey, Pheebs. What're ya doin'?"
She gathered the cards up again, proceeding to shuffle them. "A few of my friends from my days living on the street have opened up a homeless shelter. They're calling it 'Almost Home'. But they're short on funds, so they're having a Halloween fundraiser, and I agreed to help them. I'm going to run a Tarot fortunetelling booth."
"Their fate's in the cards, huh?"
"Yep!"
