Buffy made it all the way to the crypt door, then she turned around, sighing.
“I know it’s a lot to ask. For you to repress your… what you… feel,” she mumbled, scrambling for words. “But I need to make Dawn my priority right now.”

“I get that,” he said, folding his arms. “Hellbitch is dangerous. You need to focus.”

She nodded. “After we’ve dealt with Glory, I guess we could… I’m willing to talk this through, if—if you want. And I mean talk; don’t get any ideas.”

“I won’t. And thanks.”

“Okay. Bye.”

“Bye,” he said as she left.
