Notes: I had a lot of emotions about the recent episode featuring Nanami.
Nanami stands barefoot in the kitchen, the top two buttons of his shirt left undone as early morning warmth seeps through the open balcony door. He looks out at the nearby ocean, sparkling in the tropical sunlight. The egg he's frying sizzles satisfyingly in the pan, and he turns to flip it over.
Perfectly cooked as always.
At least some things in life, he's managed to get down to a science. The other side of adulthood.
The chime of the newspaper boy's bicycle sings through the kitchen window, and a quiet smile drifts across his face. Life sure was peaceful.
