No bright halos will now be shining
When once the final battle ends
There'll be no sense in people whining
Making bitter enemies of friends

The bodies all fall down so quickly
Cluttering up stream and field
And the blood, how it flows so thickly
That the earth is full concealed

Never once was this yet needed
And avoiding could be done
If only one time yet was heeded
Any cooler heads, even just one

There would be nobody questing
For an end of lives to miss
If they asked themselves the question
What's the point in all of this
