Every time Lysius found a new flower, they brought it home and planted it in Shadowheart’s garden. It was getting chaotic, colors overlapping and clashing; it looked more like a well-loved old quilt than the rainbow they had envisioned when they brought the first one home. But Shadowheart didn’t mind the mess. Every time she came back from adventuring and saw how many had been added, she would chase Lysius down and demand to know what they were called, where they had found them, and—most importantly—if Lysius had brought back any good stories to tell along with them.
