There is a train that the mundane don’t know of, one that goes between worlds.

The forest rushes by in the window, lush and dark. It sends the sunset light flickering across the compartment floor, the seats, Liath Tyr’s fur. Rory has seen yokai in their painted masks, spirits with their ghostly fire passing by. The stewardess is a woman with ever-shifting tattoos and dark eyes. They helped a cait sidhe with its ticket, as it had no opposable thumbs. The dreams they have as they doze with their head on Liath Tyr’s shoulder are strange.
