“Anything gory in the Sunnydale Press today?” asked Dawn.
Spike snorted. “Same old incidents with barbecue forks.”
“Figures. Smile for the camera!”
“What?” he asked, lowering the newspaper while Dawn snapped a picture with her Polaroid. “Bloody hell. What are you doing?”
“Collecting this summer highlights for my vanity mirror.”
“Shouldn’t you go out with Janice? Take pictures with her.”
“She’ll come over later,” said Dawn, shaking the Polaroid. “Technical question: how come you appear in pictures and videotapes, but not in mirrors?”
“Not a bleedin’ clue, don’t give a sod. Ask Giles.”
“I need another picture, you were frowning.”
