Sebastian regretted nothing more than almost blinding Blaine and killing their friendship. He realized afterward that he was sabotaging what they had because he was frustrated they weren’t more. He killed it because he felt if it couldn’t be what he wanted it was better to have nothing at all. He was such a fool, because nothing? It was worse. So, he sucked it up and apologized sincerely, but it never was the same again. Once it was lost, it could never regain that innocence. What was once golden was now tarnished forever. He knew he had destroyed something precious.
