We were sitting in an establishment appearing to purport to be a tea shop, although not one I would have dared to take an aunt to.  Suddenly, Bingo Little gave an undignified squeal, and said, “She’s over there, serving that old couple.  Isn’t she an absolute angel?”

Bingo waited on tenterhooks to see if we too would be served by this angel and, to his delight, she brought the tea and teacakes over to us.  Having placed them on the table, it was then left to me to acknowledge receipt, Bingo being rendered temporarily dumb.

“Isn’t she wonderful?” he sighed.
