Willow hissed as Buffy bandaged her neck.
“Sorry…” she said, giving her friend an apologetic smile. “Good news is, it’s a superficial puncture. You barely lost any blood.”
“Yay,” Willow muttered with fake enthusiasm.
“I’m so sorry, Will,” Buffy sighed. “Xander told me that Spike was back and looking for me… I should’ve warned you as well.”
Willow smiled. “It’s okay. He can be unpredictable.”
“Still. I was waiting for him outside and I left you in danger.”
“Okay, but… what about those commando guys?” Willow asked. “Weird much?”
“And suspicious. Besides, this is Sunnydale. That means we’ve got trouble.”
