Finding out you're a synth doesn't change a thing; not really. You still feel so damn tired after a mission that lasts for days without end, out in a raging spore storm on a planet where everything wants to kill you. You still need time to think but you can't afford sleep when you know you're being hunted but you can't see by what through the spore clouds. You can still be torn apart, eaten, but you can't take your Skell because the servos get clogged up by spores. 

 

You still feel more pleasurable sensations. It makes up for everything.
