image of teen angst.

Sinewy shoulders
Stress, distress and sorrow set
Screeching steel, soon sheared

Lex is on the wire
Smallville, Stultifyingly
Hasn’t ceased to suck.

Lex, speeds. Slamming strikes.

Warm green eyes, plush red lips. Lex
sputtering, and spent.

How can Clark deny
Lex’s reawakening?
Lex flew, he knew it.

Lex, unconvinced by
Clark’s poor prevarication
Adrenaline? No.

As if Clark could erase
The kiss (of life) that brought Lex back
Lies won’t blur their truth.
