Yes, the dilemma with the no-so-new protocol for incoming patients to the ER was recurring, but his silence made Lauren think of the worst. “Do you want to turn the healthcare system upside down?” And she guessed right. The Chief of the ER sighed. “Can this wait until my lunchtime?” Max titled his head. “Do you have a lunch break?” “I don’t!” Lauren smiled. “But Reynold does, talk to him.”
