Summary: Since he was in charge of the Library’s Floor of Art, he would learn to paint. And he would try again. Maybe she would have been proud.
Notes: Other than implications of previous character death, I don't think there are any trigger warnings? Definitely much softer than the source material.

Netzach wouldn't claim to be artistic. He wouldn't claim to be much at all. …she never agreed.
Paintbrush shaking, colors that clash… He didn't know what he was doing. But he wouldn't stop. One day, Netzach would get it right. Maybe he wouldn't create anything good for years to come. He would try again, again. Each painting was another step; he learned and he continued.
The face that never left his mind… he won't stop until he can capture her warmth. Allow her out of his heart, into the world she dreamed of. After all, she told him to live.
