The sword in his grip could not protect him forever. That was fine by Felix… He looked death in the eye, a bewildered opponent far too familiar. Connected since they were young, yet Sylvain still left for the Empire’s war.

…words from his father never impacted his belief; honor is a meaningless ideal to die for. Felix fought his best in battle, though his last breath would not be for legends to herald as noble. Felix would not die for a king nor cause…
