Saki was unflappable when it came to being interviewed; she'd long-since been asked every uninvited and off-color question there was and she knew what to say.
That was why she was just smiling now as she looked at the camera. She would just get ahead of everyone right away...
She knew all the prompts and cues and when the recording would begin...
"We're here with Saki Momose, who has an announcement to make."
Saki knew there were rumors of her retirement and they were simply untrue.
She reached to touch her stomach.
"I'm taking a break from racing," she said.
