To give everyone luck, or to take everyone's luck away. It simply didn't work. The idea broke down as soon as any two desires came into conflict, not only between people but also with the spirits governing the laws of nature or even an indecisive person's conflicting desires. If having your unwise wishes granted could even be called 'luck'. Some philosophies would not even have given humanity choice, simply what seemed best for them. Whichever was the case, the Devil pondered with a smirk as he saw the whole plan unravel, Abaddon really did not know humans as Lucifer did.
